“This is the second child I have put through this program. We have been very pleased with the whole thing from start to finish.”
At Kaleo Speech and Language, we believe in providing individualized treatment, accompanied by parent education, and a home program to foster long-term growth. Treatment programs include goals that we work towards so that the child is not burdened by forever therapy. Instead, we want to hit our goals so that our kids can still be kids! We specialize in specific treatment to increase skills in distinct areas of development.
Auditory training to teach the brain to map sounds in order to improve learning.
Aural habilitation – hearing discrimination training for DHH children detecting sound through hearing aid/CI use.
Treatment to address oral-muscular deficits including tongue thrust and mouth breathing.
Increasing skills in order to improve abilities in the comprehension and expression of language, such as following directions, understanding and answering questions, using appropriate grammar, vocabulary, and story retell skills.
Treatment focus on manipulating the lips, tongue, and jaw correctly and safely chew on the molars and suction-swallow without the use of compensations commonly found with tongue ties or low tongue posture.
Phonological Awareness Skills - includes early literacy basics to manipulate sounds in words and increase foundational reading skills.
Correct speech sound production placement to increase a child’s ability to produce all sounds correctly and intelligibly.
Kaleo Speech and Language accepts a variety of payment including Care Credit (QR code below), but is not in network with all insurance at this time. Call to ask about your specific insurance.
